About ShippingCalculators.net
Free shipping tools built for sellers, shippers, and logistics teams who need fast, accurate estimates without the runaround.
What We Build
ShippingCalculators.net is a free, independent hub of shipping tools covering everything from dimensional weight and freight class to carrier rate comparisons across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser - no account required, no data collected, no strings attached.
We launched in April 2026 after years of frustration watching e-commerce sellers and logistics teams waste time hunting carrier websites for basic rate estimates. Our goal is to make shipping math instant and accessible - whether you ship 10 packages a month or 10,000.
Our Editorial Standards
Every calculator and article on this site is built and reviewed against published carrier rate cards, NMFC classification tables, IATA standards, and CBP regulations. We cite our sources and mark when rates are estimates versus verified current data.
- -Carrier rate tables are pulled from live APIs daily and timestamped so you know exactly how fresh the data is.
- -Hardcoded fallback rates are sourced from official carrier published rate cards and labeled with the effective date.
- -Blog articles are reviewed for accuracy and updated when carrier policies or industry standards change.
- -We flag when information is approximate and recommend verifying with your carrier before making financial decisions.
How We Keep Rates Current
Carrier rates change annually - sometimes mid-year. To keep our calculators accurate, we pull live rate data from carrier APIs daily and update our rate tables automatically. Every calculator that shows carrier pricing displays a "Rates as of" date so you always know how fresh the data is.
When live rates are unavailable, calculators fall back to verified hardcoded rates from the most recent carrier rate increase. We note when this is the case.
Who This Is For
- -E-commerce sellers who need to price shipping into their margins before listing a product
- -Small business owners comparing carriers before opening a shipping account
- -Logistics and ops teams who need a quick sanity check on rates or freight class
- -International shippers estimating duties, volumetric weight, and de minimis thresholds
- -Anyone who has ever spent 20 minutes on a carrier website just trying to get a rate estimate
Important Disclaimer
All rates shown are estimates based on retail carrier pricing. Actual shipping costs depend on your negotiated account rates, surcharges (fuel, residential, additional handling), exact package dimensions, and destination. Always verify final rates directly with your carrier or shipping platform before making business decisions.
ShippingCalculators.net is an independent tool and is not affiliated with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or any other carrier.
